"In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all
things according to the counsel of His will, that we who
first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having
believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession to the praise of
His glory."

Ephesians 1:11-14

"and that from childhood you have known the Holy
Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation
through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness, that the man of God may be complete,
thoroughly equipped for every good work.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and
His kingdom: Preach the word! Be ready in season and out
of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering
and teaching. For the time will come when they will not
endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires,
because they have itching ears, they will heap up for
themselves teachers; and they will turn aside their ears away
from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be
watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, fulfill your ministry."
